Some people believe that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime. Others argue that the circumstances and motivation of each crime should always be considered when deciding on the punishment. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

The administration of justice in each country may have its laws.
Although
some
people
are in favour of a fixed
sentence
, others care about the circumstances of the
crime
. I will examine both views and express my opinion. Some
people
believe that if there is a fixed
sentence
for all
people
, it can make it possible to eliminate
crime
in society. In
such
a way that every person thinks about the result of the
crime
before committing it and stops thinking about the result of the
crime
.
Although
the existence of a fixed
sentence
regardless of the circumstances and the words of the accused makes the court have a faster process,
this
may cause a mistake for the judge and unjustly punish
someone
who cannot be compensated. Others believe that they should examine the conditions and situations of the criminal to know what was the motivation of the person to commit the
crime
. If the motivation of these
people
is identified and examined by psychologists, it may be prevented from repeating in the form of various trainings in society. which can ultimately reduce
crime
statistics scientifically and experimentally. If
someone
unintentionally causes
someone
's death in self-defence, he should not receive the same
sentence
as
someone
who murdered for no reason or out of spite. In my opinion, the law should be the same for all
people
, but justice generally does not mean that there is a penalty for all situations, because
someone
with mental disorders may not be able to understand the rules correctly and may not be able to follow their logic.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
