The main purpose of public libraries is to provide books as they should not waste their limited resources and space on providing expensive high tech media , such as computer software, videos and DVD's . To what extent do you agree or disagree with this segment?

Most people are under the assumption that the main goal of public
libraries
Use synonyms
is just providing
books
Use synonyms
and providing other cutting-edge resources of science and technology including
DVDs
Use synonyms
,
videos
Use synonyms
and applicable
software
Use synonyms
are often considered to be a waste of either resources or money.
Although
Linking Words
these kinds of science and technology are pricy, I completely disagree with
this
Linking Words
viewpoint. In the paragraphs to come, I shall
further
Linking Words
my opinions on
this
Linking Words
viewpoint.
Firstly
Linking Words
, in today's interconnected world, it is better for us to utilize advanced technology in every aspect of our lives since these cutting-edge
technologies
Use synonyms
have better availability and they are easy to
use
Use synonyms
. Not only is it impossible to print lots of high-quality and colourful pictures in a
book
Use synonyms
, but
also
Linking Words
it is costly.
Furthermore
Linking Words
, there are some limitations in the number of pages and words
while
Linking Words
in
DVDs
Use synonyms
,
software
Use synonyms
and other
technologies
Use synonyms
these limitations do not exist.
For example
Linking Words
, it is completely possible to have an electronic
book
Use synonyms
in a small DVD that contains thousands of words,
videos
Use synonyms
and colorful pictures
whereas
Linking Words
it is out of mind to print a
book
Use synonyms
containing a huge number of pictures and
videos
Use synonyms
.
As a result
Linking Words
, it is more beneficial for public
libraries
Use synonyms
to
use
Use synonyms
DVDs
Use synonyms
,
software
Use synonyms
and other
technologies
Use synonyms
to enhance their services and diminish costs.
Secondly
Linking Words
, new
technologies
Use synonyms
like
software
Use synonyms
,
DVDs
Use synonyms
and
videos
Use synonyms
need significantly less
space
Use synonyms
compared to traditional printing
books
Use synonyms
as thousands of
books
Use synonyms
and
videos
Use synonyms
can be stored in a small computer. Not only do they require smaller
space
Use synonyms
than
books
Use synonyms
, but
also
Linking Words
they are more searchable and more user-friendly.
For example
Linking Words
, a student can easily search on the computer for different online
books
Use synonyms
to find their favourite content in a minute
while
Linking Words
it is more time-consuming to find a special
book
Use synonyms
in a library.
Therefore
Linking Words
, it is obvious that resources like
DVDs
Use synonyms
and
videos
Use synonyms
either need less
space
Use synonyms
or dwindle the required cost and time to find special content.
Consequently
Linking Words
, it is better for public
libraries
Use synonyms
to
use
Use synonyms
advanced
technologies
Use synonyms
to improve the efficiency and required
space
Use synonyms
for storing
books
Use synonyms
. In light of these facts, one can conclude that it does more good than harm to the public
libraries
Use synonyms
to utilize
DVDs
Use synonyms
,
videos
Use synonyms
and
software
Use synonyms
since they have better availability, need less physical
space
Use synonyms
and are easy to
use
Use synonyms
. For these reasons, I wholeheartedly believe that public
libraries
Use synonyms
must contain
videos
Use synonyms
,
DVDs
Use synonyms
and
software
Use synonyms
together with
Linking Words
their
books
Use synonyms
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
