It is clear that
there are striking transformations in the area throughout the years with the appearance of two roundabouts together with
a bus station on the access way and the separation in types of car parks.
As can be seen, in order to enhance safety due to
an increasing number of vehicles travelling back and forth every day, one
particularly noticeable change carried out was the first roundabout installed in the three-way junction in front of the hospital in 2010, whereas
the second one
was also
built on the crossroad of City Avenue and Hospital Road to make the traffic more convenient.
Moreover
, another significant development was that there used to be 6 bus stops on either side of Hospital Road in 2007 which took up lots of space, therefore
, 3 years later, those were removed and a station was constructed so that people could catch public transportation more easily.In the past, both the staff and the public had to use the same small car park on the eastern side of Hospital Street. However
, in 2010, a new public car park was erected on Ring Pathway while
