Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?

In recent days, it is not even surprising when we see vehicles without drivers. We can see
such
kinds of vehicles in a wide range of usage from auto-controlled cars to military
drones
. In
this
essay, I am planning to consider the advantages and disadvantages of
this
fact. I believe that the pros and cons of
such
machines depend on the area of their usage.
Hence
, I cannot talk definitely without separating the areas.
Firstly
, let's talk about military
drones
. The first reason that I want to highlight is the effectiveness of
drones
in exploration activities and the precision of target hits.
For example
, if we remember the second world war, there were lots of reconnaissance aircraft but it was not safe for the pilot and often had a vital result for them. At present days,
drones
doing their job perfectly and the biggest loss is a destroyed device. It's obvious that here we have more pluses than minuses. Concerning the distantly controlled cars, maybe because of my kind of conservatism, I am not sure I wanted to trust my life to
such
type of a vehicle. I am pretty sure that the introduction of these machines into everyday life should stand the test of time and it can take years before people will start to trust them in their lives.
For example
, a well-known Tesla car has auto-controlled models but they are not for me for sure, I cannot accept them as safe cars. But on the other side, technological progress is moving on, and why not, maybe one day it will become habitual for us to take a driverless taxi. In conclusion, depending on what type of distantly controlled devices we are talking about, the pros and cons can overweight each other.
