You recently went to a concert and thought one of the singers was very good. You want to tell him how you feel. Write a letter to the singer. In your letter, •say how you feel about his performance •give details of your musical activities •explain how you would like him to help with your musical activities You should write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear........................,

Dear Diljit,
I’m
writing
this
for the performance you gave at the YouTube fest and for admission to your singing institute.
I’m
Jaskaran, and
I’m
from New Delhi. I really enjoyed your performance at the fest, and I’d say that your voice is pleasing to the ears. Plus, I loved the way you interacted with the crowd when you were singing.
I’m
also
a singer, and I’ve been singing at my college fests during my school days, I
also
won multiple inter-school singing competitions.
last
year, I
also
took singing classes from Pheniox music institute. Yesterday, I read that you’ve got a singing institute for students who want to join you for background singing, I’d love to join it. It’d
also
help me to improve my stage presence so in future I
also
want to become a mainstream singer, but
I’m
not getting an opportunity to perform in front of a reputed singer. Hoping for a reply from your side. Kind regards, Jaskaran

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
