letter is for you in radiant health and the best of spirits. I am writing this
letter with the crucial purpose of complaining, about The area where I live has been getting dirty lately. This
causes various inconveniences to people.
On the one hand, the first important thing which should be mentioned is that we do have not a trash can in our neighbourhood. For this
,reason our streets are becoming dirty.
On the other side , There is a lot of garbage on our street. So cars cannot pass and this
leads to various traffic jams.I hope that a solution to this
problem will be found soon.
Finally
, having given the previous facts, I hope you will take immediate action in order to solve the issue as well as
look forward to hearing from you in the future. Thus

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
