People are responsible for their happiness. Others feel happiness depends on other factors in their life. Discuss both views and give your opinion?

What is the truth behind the words that,
happiness
is in your hands? Some people argued that
happiness
is an individual's own responsibility,
while
others believed that there are factors that affect achieving
this
. In
this
,essay I will discuss both views in detail and provide evidence of why I agree that
happiness
is a person's own responsibility. On the one hand,
happiness
is a choice.
For instance
, a person's joy in life depends on how she handles the circumstances that are happening in her life.
That is
why they said that you are in charge of your own
happiness
. It is your mind over matter. It is a personal decision. Will you wallow in your adversity or face it head-on, move on and be happy?
On the other hand
, it is true that other factors can affect a person's definition of
happiness
and some aspects are environmental, psychological or emotional.
For example
, circumstances that involve the one who's close to us
such
as the passing of loved ones, heartbreaks, stress from work, etc. In
this
kind of ,situations we experienced pain, despair and agony.
However
, it is within our power how to handle
such
situations. The question is, will you surrender or move on? That's why having your family and friends around during these trying times is a good intervention to be able to bounce back on your previous happy self.
To conclude
, both views have their own points but
at the end
of ,it all it is your own decision how to handle and accept things. It is your own choice to choose
happiness
.
