Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

There is a belief among people in society that sharing and spreading
information
on different
subjects
as much as possible is a good thing. But not everyone agrees with that. Some groups of people claim that some
information
is too valuable and shouldn't shared widely. In my opinion, sharing
information
in scientific research, business and the academic
world
can be beneficial. But
also
, there should be some considerations for each type of
information
. Spreading
knowledge
as much as possible can be good in general. But it
also
can be harmful in some ways. Sharing scientific details of how to manufacture an atomic bomb may cause some massive Worldwide harm which can change the
world
entirely! Just imagine a terrorist has
access
to
this
kind of
information
. The disaster that can come from
this
mistake is not imaginable.
However
, spreading different criteria of
knowledge
can be beneficial.
On the other hand
, preventing the sharing of
knowledge
and some harmless detailed
information
may cause some difficulty in improving in a variety of
subjects
. Specifically, science will not experience improvement as much as can it .
Also
, the academic
world
develops and improves with some background
knowledge
that is
accessible. So limitation of
access
to
information
in these
subjects
can be harmful to their improvements in many aspects. Personally, I believe in free
access
to
knowledge
. As it was mentioned in
this
essay, it can cause massive disasters. The solution for
this
problem is that the
world
of academia or any other
subjects
should gather around and form a society that decides
access
to what part of
knowledge
and considers the result
due to
the spreading of that
information
. So it can be concluded from
this
essay that
while
widespread
knowledge
as much as possible can be profitable, it
also
can bring some remarkable damages, so there should be some considerations and decisions about accessing
information
in different criteria.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
