1. In some countries, many more people are choosing to live alone nowadays than in the past. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Nowadays, living alone is becoming more popular than before. For many people, especially adults, the chance to move from their parent’s house to their own house is attractive.
However
, there are both pros and cons to deciding to do
this
. In
this
essay, I will discuss some of the reasons why living alone is so popular these days and some of the challenges to be overcome. Let’s begin with the advantages of living alone. One of the main positives of having your own place is learning how to be more responsible. What I mean by
this
is that you will be responsible for your choices and your decisions.
For instance
, you will pay your bills, cook your food, clean the house, etc.
This
can make you more mature.
Secondly
, you will be more independent. That means you will draw your plan for your life and how you want to live.
For example
, design your home, the furniture and the
colors
Change the spelling
colours

, etc.
In addition
, by living alone, you will explore yourself, your strengths and weaknesses, and how to deal with them. Turning to the other side of the argument, living lonely can be difficult for some to start a new life from scratch.
In other words
, when you move to live alone, you will face many skills to manage your life, so if you do not know how to deal with it, you will be disappointed and turn back to live with your family. Another issue is that living alone may shock some people, especially those who live in big families.
This
often leads to homesickness and, in some cases, a sense of isolation. In conclusion, I believe the benefits of personal growth eventually outweigh any negatives.
