The diagram below show the plan of a library in 2001 and 2009.

The maps below provide information about how a library changed in 2001 and 2009. There have been several changes. The most noticeable is the increase in book genres.  In 2001, there were a lot of tables, which probably played a crucial role for visitors. At the bottom of the map, we can see the entrance, which went straight into the Librarian's Desk. Newspapers and periodical items were located next to the tables. Turning to 2009, it can be seen that the Newspapers shelf has all gone, being replaced by Films and DVDs. Tables were
also
replaced by modern ones. Self-help and history bookcases gave up their place to Fiction, Kitchen, Economics and Law writings. The entrance remains, as does the Librarian Desk, albeit with two computers which it did not have before. 
Overall
, the building underwent several changes, including replacement with new facilities
as well as
new kinds of work.
