The given maps illustrate the changes and improvements in the village of Rye Mouth between 1995 and the present.
Overall
, the number of accomadations has expanded in these 25 years
while
fishing which was the main source of income in 1995, now disappeared.
According to
the map of 1995, the rural area was placed in the northwest of the village and till now more houses have been built in
this
area. In the southeast of the map, a cafe and a hotel were placed near the sea which remained the same till now
however
a car park developed beside the hotel. Based on the present map of the village it can be seen that a golf club opened there was farmland before and
also
a tennis court placed
instead
of the forest park. In the south of the Rye mouth, apartments with a view of the sea have been built and all the fish markets and fishing port were demolished.
In addition
to
this
, some restaurants have been opened in front of the road which used to be shops in 1995.
