When a country is already rich, any additional increase in economic wealth does not make its citizens happier. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Citizens of developed countries have numerous ways to enjoy their lives.

some people believe that acquiring more resources will enhance their already fulfilling lives, I do not share

viewpoint. Every additional dollar spent by a resident of a wealthy

country

does not necessarily grant them the ability to buy items that provide happiness and enjoyment.

Firstly

, many residents may not be pleased to witness their

country

's progress when it attains economic stability.

This

is because when a person's basic needs are met, their next goal is to achieve self-actualization. To do

this

, they must find something that makes them feel fulfilled,

as doing charity work, helping people in need, or contributing to the well-being of disadvantaged groups.

Therefore

, they can find the purpose and joy of life through their actions. Another reason is a lack of human connection.

In other words

, when a

country

aids its people, they rarely need the support of their families, and blood ties are slowly and gradually compromised.

However

for instance

, during their youth, they may pursue all kinds of luxuries and accomplishments.

Nevertheless

, it has been observed that

such

individuals often experience melancholic moods as they get older. It follows that a

country

's economic progress does not necessarily bring happiness to its residents. In summary, spending extra money on things other than the necessities of life does not increase a person's satisfaction.

This

increase in happiness can be achieved by completing tasks and having family reunions.
