Dear Sir, I hope you are doing well. My name is Lisa Akter and I am a first-year student at SRK College. I am writing
this

letter to express my frustration over my accommodation in Rokeya Hall.
To begin

with, I have been living in the dorm since February 1st, almost one month. I am sharing the room with a senior brother who is a second-year student. As a novice, I have to study a lot to cope with the curriculum activities. It is a matter of sorrow that I am not able to concentrate on my studies as the senior plays music till late at night.
However

, I had already informed him about my disturbance but he did not give it a try.
Moreover

Furthermore

, I tried to cooperate with the situation but it is beyond my tolerance level now. I want you to step into the matter and make some arrangements for me.
Hence

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
