We are living in a digital age. The debate between reading and watching TV in our free time seems to never end. In my opinion, people can learn in both ways, but when it comes to enhancing imagination and boosting language ability, reading for pleasure is undoubtedly the better option.

Firstly

, there are no pictures in

or lectures. It prompts the reader to think or imagine what the characters look like and how they express their emotions.

Furthermore

, the reader can create their own scene in their mind.
