Overall
, there was a distinction in both genders joining different activities.
While
swimming attracted the most players, the opposite could be seen in jogging. With 25% participation, netball was a female sport, 25 times more than
men
.
Similarly
, swimming and jogging were more favourable for women, at 14% and 4% respectively.The rate for jogging was the lowest, at 7% for both sexes, which was only one-fifth of 38% of people who opted for swimming.
On the other hand
, 24% of males took part in soccer, the rate for
men
was 4 times higher than for females.
Although
10% of
men
chose cricket, there was only 1% of women interested in
this
sport. Other sports witnessed a number of
men
participating twice the figure for women. Strikingly, a minimal difference between males and females was witnessed in tennis and basketball, at 7% and 6% respectively.
