Overall

, there appeared to be an increase in the percentage of households owning electrical machines throughout the years,

the opposite

was observed in the time spent doing housework. Among three different electronic devices, the

of refrigerator ownership increased dramatically, from slightly more than 0% in 1920 to the presence of a refrigerator in each house in 1980, which continued until 2019. A similar

observed in the

of houses with a vacuum cleaner.

On the contrary

, there was only a slight rise in the percentage of houses with a washing machine, which showed a net difference of only slightly above 30% between the years 1920 and 2019. Aside from that, the
