In some countries levels of health and fitness are decreasing and average weights are increasing. What do you think are the causes of these problems and what are some possible solutions?

A trend of decreasing
health
levels and an increase in average body mass can be seen in some nations.
This
is mainly caused by the overconsumption of unhealthy food and
also
the general lack of infrastructure that supports
people
to
exercise
, making it harder for
people
to achieve a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
This
can be solved by making healthy
foods
,
such
as fruits and vegetables, more affordable for
people
to purchase, and
also
creating pedestrian-friendly cities to make it easier for
people
to passively
exercise
. Eating too many junk
foods
and not exercising enough are the few causes of a bad quality of
health
. In some
countries
, the price of good quality and healthy ingredients is very expensive, which leads to
people
eating instant
foods
like processed meats,
such
as sausages and nuggets, because of the cheaper price. These kinds of
foods
are
also
harder for your body to digest, increasing your body fat in an unhealthy way. Aside from that,
exercise
also
plays a big part in keeping up your
health
, and some
countries
do not have the facilities that encourage
people
to
exercise
. By
this
, I do not mean they need to provide free gyms, but something as simple as proper sidewalks to promote walking from place to place. Indonesia is
one
of the
countries
with the least amount of
people
walking, and
this
is mainly caused by the absence of infrastructure that supports pedestrians to be able to walk safely and comfortably. Some possible solutions for the problems stated would be making healthy
foods
more accessible for
people
and
also
providing the facilities for
people
to be able to activity passively and comfortably. The first
one
can be done by providing a special discount for fruits and vegetables, or even giving those
foods
for free for the
people
who do not have the money to afford them. As I stated previously, promoting
exercise
to
people
can be done by making it easier for
people
to
exercise
passively.
This
can be done by making it more comfortable for
people
to walk in cities. The Netherlands is
one
of the
countries
with the highest amount of
people
walking, and
this
is caused by infrastructure that supports pedestrians,
such
as big and well-maintained sidewalks and crossroads. In conclusion, two of the main reasons for the decline in
health
are not eating healthy food and the lack of
exercise
, which is mainly caused by the inaccessibility of the two things mentioned. To solve those problems, healthy
foods
should be made more affordable, if not free, and an environment that supports
people
to walk
Change the verb form
walking

,
one
of the main passive exercises, should be built.
