People appear to hold divergent opinions about whether success in
sports
depends on physical ability or mental attitudes. Obviously, athletes with the most powerful bodies would have a greater advantage during competitions. Especially in areas like weighting and boxing which require absolute physical prowess, the strongest and fittest individuals and teams are proven to secure the winner more easily.
For example
, in weightlifting, the ability to lift heavier weights is directly correlated with muscle
strength
. Athletes who have dedicated their training to building robust muscles are more likely to excel in

discipline.
On the other hand
, mental attitudes like resilience are
also
crucial for accomplishment in
sports
. Players face numerous failures during their training and competitions, and a resilient individual, even not strong enough, can embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
While
maintaining a positive mindset in the face of adversities, they can adapt to changes with flexibility which enhances future performance. In my opinion, it is true that physical prowess is crucial for success in
sports
.
Strength
and muscles provide players with greater potential
while
others are limited. But, as with all questions of nature versus nurture, they are not mutually exclusive. Most successful athletes require a balance between physical and mental attributes. Without physical
strength
, performance would be limited, and without mental attributes

as teamwork and strategy, one’s ability cannot be maximized. In conclusion, I think both physical
strength
and mental attributes are keys to success in

.
