Some students choose to study in another country for a time during high school or university. What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of studying abroad?

The modern world has become a global village.
Due to
this
advancement, people prefer to travel to other nations to either study or to work. Getting a degree from a foreign university is a new trend in some developing countries.
Although
this
trend has some benefits as it gives exposure to other cultures, it
also
has some drawbacks as no family support. To keep the wheel rolling, once they get their higher degree from an English speaking, it becomes easy for them to grab a better job opportunity in any of the multi-national company. Another huge plus point is getting more knowledge about different cultures and
this
helps in promoting cultural diversity.
For instance
, the young generation from countries like India and China are migrating to Western countries like Australia and Canada for better future opportunities and higher studies.
On the contrary
, there are many drawbacks to
this
trend as there is no support from family when a student comes to a foreign provincial. They experience homesickness and
this
sometimes affects their mental health. Another negative point is that studying in a foreign rustic is expensive compared to studying in their own home agrarian. So, young people can face financial stress as well.
For example
, people have to pay more fees, rent, insurance and taxes
while
they are pursuing their higher degrees in a foreign bucolic. The gist of the matter is that despite all the positive points like having a better future and exposure, we can not snub the negative points like homesickness and financial burden.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
