, it can be seen that landfills are more popular than others except in the Netherlands. Additionally
, the percentage of recycled in the Netherlands and landfilled in the UK is more significant than any other type.
First of all, the proportion of burnt, used as chemicals and landfilled in the Netherlands is inconsiderable, ranging from 8% to 14% whereas
recycled accounts for nearly 70%. Regarding the U.K, the percentage of landfilled is 66% while
burned, used as chemicals and recycled is much lower, respectively 3%, 18% and 12%.
Turning to the remaining statistics, it can be observed that there is a similarity in the percentage of landfilled in Italy and Spain, with 40%. In terms of other methods in Italy, the proportion is nearly the same, around 20%.
