The line graph displays the data of five groups of households with different
income
levels in the years 2007, 2011 and 2015. It can be observed that the
overall
structure of the
income
levels did not change much. The number of
houses
which earned more than 100,000 dollars increased to a relatively large extent in 2015 than in the other two years. The figures for middle-class
houses
, namely the two groups with an annual
income
of $50,000 to $74,999 and $75,000 to $99,999 are the most stable ones with minor fluctuations. The former
group
consisted of slightly more than 20
million
houses
while
there were around 15
million
houses
in the latter
group
. The number of
houses
in the least-
income
category rose by 3
million
from 2007 to 2011 and
then
almost remained the same in 2015. The same pattern
also
occurred in the second
last
group
. At
last
, the
group
on the highest
income
level saw a drop of roughly 2
million
houses
from 30
million
houses
but soared to 34
million
houses
in 2015.
