were 7% lower than the average in 1989. Even though the other two were higher, they were merely around 2% more than in 1989. Looking at another half of the chart, the average house price soared since 1996 except in

witnessed a significant growth in house prices, reaching around 12% higher than in 1989. Meanwhile, New York, Madrid and Frankfurt rose 5%, 4% and 2% respectively.
