The past 50 years have seen a dramatic increase in life span in many nations. Some may criticise its inconvenience and significant treatment costs,
however
, I intend to argue that the benefits of having an ageing population far outweigh its drawbacks. Two of the primary benefits associated with
this
trend are as follows. First of all, it is an irrefutable fact that the advantages the elderly population’s presence brings to their scion’s lives are significant. living in the 21st century is accompanied by inflation, recession and skyrocketing prices that have forced both parents to work in order to provide the expenses of life. So, the grandparents could be a consolation for their children by taking the responsibility of caring for their offspring. More importantly, by being assured of their children, parents could perform incredibly effectively at work.
Secondly
and even more importantly, though, is taking advantage of the elderly population’s valuable experiences which they have gained during the challenges of their lives. Of course, having more aged people would be accompanied by curing and treatment costs to governments,
however
, I would contend that we could utilise
such
aged people’s experiences in both professional and unprofessional fields rather than sacrificing too much money and energy to pass the same way.
In addition
, a higher number of elder people in the demographic graph of a country would be an indicator of a high-quality life in that nation. By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that rather than considering aged people merely consumers and expensive to governments, I feel that having a more logical and profound attitude toward
this
issue is more advisable.
