She has reduced the food variety offered to the guest, which helped her to reduce the cost substantially,

 reduce the food wastage. ‎‏In my opinion, a wedding is an important activity in a couple’s life journey, but the amount spent should be within a reasonable budget, and spending too much will be a waste. The size of the budget depends on your affordability and should be made from your accessible resources. It should not be made by borrowing funds from a third party.
