The table in the above image shows the source of money for the police budget. The chart shows how it was spent. Both of these images capture data from the year 2017 to 2018.
The table and charts illustrate the source of the public
budget
and the percentage of how the money
was spent from 2017 to 2018.
The national government was the main source of the money
, which was 175.5m in 2017 and had a rise to 177.8 in 2018. Local taxes came to second place, the amount was 91.2m in 2017 and it increased to 102.3m in 2018. The remaining sources such
as grants remained unchanged during these two years, levelled off at about 38m. Totally, the budget
rose during that period.
Most of the money
was spent on salaries of officers and staff, which accounted for 75% in 2017 and declined to 69% in the next year. Buildings and transportation contributed 17% of the budget
spending and it still showed the same proportion in 2018. Although
only made up 8% in 2017, the proportion of technology surged to 14% after a year.
In summary, the total amount of money
in the budget
didn't change a lot. The national government was in the first place while
other sources were at the least. Additionally
, the flow of money
showed a little transformation. The salaries spent over half of the budget
while
technology cost less than other parts.Submitted by n6160978224716 on
