,it can be seen that rice
was the most selected ingredient in all the years given.
To begin
with,Rice
had the most fluctuating pattern with the highest number
of choices.In the first decade,there was a significant increase from 65 to 80 choices in 1980.However
,after that year
rice
declined gradually to reach its lowest in 2000.Vegetables began at the same number
as rice
in the year
1970 but had a downward trend with the figures decreasing to 55 in the year
2000.
On the contrary
,meat,fish and processed food
had opposite tendencies.Although
they had different starting points ,accounting for 25 in meat,30 in fish and 15 in processed food
,in the last
three decades the number
rose in all groups at various rates.Processed food
seemed to have the most increasing rate.Its number
exponentially grew to peak at 70 in 2000 followed closely by meat which continuously grew to 65 in 2000.Whereas
fish increased in the first decade and remained constant at 40 choices after the year
