Automation has made
people
's
lives
easier, it basically can replace humans in doing a certain task,
such
as driving. Driverless vehicles will likely happen in the near future, where only passengers will be inside the vehicle.
Hence
, I personally believe that the merits outweigh the demerits for some reasons that are set out below. Artificial Intelligence is developing rapidly, and it is starting to be implemented in every aspect of our daily
lives
. It is
also
starting to replace unnecessary human jobs,
such
as cleaning and driving.
For instance
, artificial intelligence has been implemented in cars like
Tesla
.
Tesla
offers autopilot where
people
can just sit and relax inside the car,
while
it takes them to their destination. All they need to do is insert the data of their destinations where they want to go, and it will automatically drive.on the best routes to avoid traffic.
On the contrary
, there are some downsides when using artificial intelligence in everything. As it is made by
people
, it will likely have some errors that can cause accidents to happen.
For example
, one year ago, there was an accident happened with
Tesla
. A woman was using the
Tesla
autopilot to go home from her office. Unexpectedly,
instead
of going forward, it went reverse and plunged into the river. Even worse, she could not open the door as the system was set to lock the door as long as the machine was on. Ultimately,
although
errors might happen and can cause accidents, I believe that the advantages of it to help
people
's
lives
are far superior to the disadvantages. Accidents might happen, but the chance of it happening is very small. On the bright side, their
lives
will be easier, as they do not need to drive anymore.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
