The plans illustrate a port in 2000 and how it is now.
Overall
, several changes have been made, making the area more convenient. The arrangement of some spaces has been changed. There are some new facilities that have been added to Porth Harbour.
Also
, there is
one
substitution, the disused castle has been replaced by a hotel. In 2000, the Marina was located on the north border of the port,
however
, it has been switched place with a fishing boat spot and now it is next to the café and shops areas, which have been built almost in the middle of the plan. There was only
one
shower and toilet area on the site before, on the left side of the Marina and above the car parking, but now another space has been constructed between two car park areas on the right side of the main road. The prior version of the Porth Harbour had
one
dock on the north portion of the site, next to the public beach, but today another
one
has been set up on the left side of the old dock, close to the fishing boats. On the south-eastern of the port, there was a disused castle. Today, it is substituted by a hotel. To access the hotel, a sub-road has been constructed, and a public beach that once was for everyone to use is specifically for the hotel’s guests now.
