Since you cannot go out much now, I thought watching movies could help you. So I've prepared something else big for you. You can imagine what it is, it's a brand new 20" LED flat-screen TV! Hopefully, it will help you rest

task response
You answer all three parts: the gift, why you chose it, and how it will get there. To make it better, say more clearly why this TV is good for Alex, for example, that he can watch it while his leg gets well.
coherence and cohesion
Your letter is easy to follow: first the gift, then the reason, then the delivery. Some link words do not fit well. “In addition” and “However” are not needed here. Use simple links such as “Also”, “So”, and “Because”.
coherence and cohesion
Keep one main point in each part. The first part has the talk, the accident, and the TV together. You could make the talk about the TV shorter, then start a new part for why you chose it.
coherence and cohesion
Change “She will deposit in your garage” to “She will leave it in your garage.” This is more clear and natural.
task response
You clearly name the gift: a new LED flat-screen TV.
task response
You give a clear reason: Alex cannot go out much because of his broken leg, so he can watch movies at home.
coherence and cohesion
The last part gives clear delivery details: who will bring it, the day, the time, and where it will be left.
coherence and cohesion
The greeting and closing are warm and right for a letter to a friend.
Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
