Bicycles are an essential part of modern life. Some individuals believe that bicycles have merits. Whereas others are against this idea. In my view, I strongly agree that bicycles have positive impacts in modern society, as healthy and easy to use. This essay will explore both advantages and disadvantages of applying bikes by supporting relevant examples and insights.
Some equate the absence of national costumes in people's day-to-day attire with a decline in cultural and historical appreciation, and suggest that to reverse the status quo, it is necessary to encourage citizens to wear such garments on a daily basis. In this essay, I will challenge the aforementioned perspectives for the following reasons.
Many institutions allow their members to work from home. This is also common among educational institutions, where students can complete their studies from home. I believe that allowing this option helps many workers and students perform better at their desired duties.
Many individuals hold the opinion that it would be better for large companies to have their base far from the city centre. This essay will discuss that the advantages, like better operational ability and uninterrupted workflow does clearly outweigh the disadvantages, like no strong contact with the city centre and difficulty accessing needed help.
A school of thought remains controversial as to whether regulations of an individual's nutrition and diet would be necessary to boost health. This essay attempts to shed light on both perspectives before presenting my final point.
In today's rapidly changing higher educational landscape, the question of whether university students should explore other subjects alongside their main qualifications or focus exclusively on their major field of study has become a topic of ongoing discussion. While both perspectives have merits, I believe that striking a balance between exploration and specialisation is key to a successful education in today's dynamic world.
The massive burden of passing some rules and laws in working environments rests on the shoulders of high-ranking officials. While some opine that companies should consider women and men equally, when they want to hire employees for high-level positions in their companies, I strongly agree with this point of view, as equality is what life is all about.
The massive burden of passing some strict rules in public places rests on the shoulders of high-ranking officials. While some argue that the government should impose some laws not to use cellphones in public environments, in my view, this is an unfair measure, since in emergency situations, people have no other choice but to make a call to ask some help.
As traffic and housing problems in urban life keep on the rise. It is debatable that the main cause is the large companies and factories that are spiking the volume of this issue, but if that is really the issue, replacing them would cause a shortage in the employment rate and other damages to the economy.
The internet and television allow people to access information instantly, which is especially useful in daily life. Due to this convenience, some people believe that modern media could replace books as the main source of information. Personally, I believe that although digital media has become widespread, it will not completely replace books, but rather complement them.
With several languages dying out every year, it would be misleading to suggest that this is unimportant because life would be easier if there were fewer languages in the world. As far as I am concerned, linguistic diversity is pivotal to culture, and its decline does not necessarily mean life will become easier.
While some argue that remote jobs reduce work output and team collaboration, I believe that it is beneficial to employees because it promotes a better work–life balance.
It is often argued that information about politicians' personal lives should not be published in the print media. This essay strongly agrees that such information ought to remain private and will outline the key reasons supporting this view.
Nowadays, some workplaces aim to employ an equal number of men and women. Although this policy is often introduced to promote gender equality, I strongly believe that it is a negative development, as it can undermine merit-based hiring and create practical challenges in certain sectors.
The massive burden of making a society a better place to live rests on the shoulders of high-ranking officials. While some opine that the best way to maintain the good health of dwellers is to provide a wide range of sports facilities, others argue that this plays a minor role in the well-being of residents, and other factors should be considered. From my perspective, the authorities should place a high value on other issues, such as ensuring a work-life balance for individuals, instead of solely focusing on sports equipment.
There is an ongoing debate about whether spending a large amount of money on celebrations such as weddings, birthday parties, and other social events is unnecessary, or whether these occasions are essential for individuals and society. While some people consider such spending wasteful, I believe that these celebrations should be encouraged because they provide emotional value and strengthen social relationships.
In today’s interconnected world, acquiring the right skills has become essential for achieving success. It is, therefore, suggested that parental values can offer more opportunities compared to academic knowledge taught in schools. While these life skills can be beneficial for children to achieve their goals, in my opinion, without academic knowledge, it would ultimately be a waste.
The massive responsibility of guiding children toward the right path in their lives rests on the shoulders of their parents. The majority of young people prefer to live beside their parents until the age of 18, and then they leave their parents to develop an independent life with their friends. I strongly agree with this viewpoint.
Some people argue that work-related education for students should be the primary function of a university, while others oppose this statement and believe that students should be taught theoretical knowledge to broaden their minds. In my opinion, I believe that practical learning is far more beneficial for students than just gaining general knowledge at a university.
It is believed by some that a large income is much more significant than a job that doesn’t offer much other than satisfaction. In my opinion, satisfaction shouldn’t be the only factor of a job and a substantial salary is definitely more important.
