Some people believe that living in the countryside is healthier, while others argue that city life provides more health benefits. This issue is especially relevant in Azerbaijan, where there is a clear contrast between rural areas and large cities such as Baku. This essay will discuss both views and give my opinion.
Some might say that the fittest and strongest competitors and teams always succeed in sports, while others might argue that success in sports depends on mental mindset rather than physical strength.
Many citizens believe that students from both secondary school and high school should have the option to choose between a university-related course or a practical course for other types of careers. I totally agree with this affirmation.
Disappearing traditional school system not only plays a significant negative role in people's behaviour , but also government is affected by finding the right people to administer the state. While some believe that school and teachers will fade away after 24 years from now, I do not agree with this view.
Nowadays, artificial intelligence has been invented to assist human beings at work and at home. In my opinion, the negative impacts of this improvement are outweighed by the positives.
There is a debate between competition and cooperation in work, school and our daily life. Many have the impression that competing is beneficial, while others oppose and state that cooperation should be more emphasised. This essay will discuss both views and why there is a need for balance between the two concepts.
Modern buildings have become increasingly prevalent in recent years, and they are thought to influence the appearance of towns and cities. I support the idea that governments should introduce architectural guidelines to preserve cultural heritage and the traditional identity of urban areas.
The pervasive reliance on gasoline-powered vehicles has undeniably exacerbated air pollution and accelerated climate change. In response, some advocate imposing higher taxes on gasoline as a means of curbing consumption and incentivising alternative modes of transport. While I largely agree with this proposal due to its potential environmental benefits, its economic ramifications must be carefully calibrated to avoid disproportionate burdens on certain segments of society.
In the modern world, it is undeniable that mobile phones have become an important part of everyday life, including for children. Some parents believe that cell phones are harmful to young people, while others think they can be useful tools. In this essay, an attempt will be made to examine both perspectives.
In the modern world, it is undeniable that living standards have improved significantly due to advances in technology, healthcare, and economic development. Some people believe that modern life is already close to the ideal, while others argue that it still requires considerable improvement. Although some may support the idea that modern life is nearly ideal, I am convinced that it still needs to be improved for several reasons, which will be examined in this essay.
In the modern world, it is undeniable that television news programmes play an important role in shaping public awareness and understanding of current events. Some people believe that the main purpose of these programmes is to entertain viewers, while others argue that they should focus on education and information. Although some may support the entertainment function, I am convinced that the primary purpose of TV news should be to inform and educate the public, which will be examined in this essay.
Whether cities should preserve historic buildings or replace them with modern developments is a controversial issue. Some people believe that old buildings should be demolished to make space for new structures, while others think they should be protected. In my opinion, it is better to preserve historic buildings because they are important for culture and tourism.
In recent years, the debate over whether governments should have access to citizens’ mobile phone records and messages has become increasingly controversial. While some people argue that such access is necessary to ensure public safety, others believe that it represents a serious violation of individual privacy. This essay will discuss both views before presenting my own opinion.
The ongoing debate surrounding whether animal experiments should be used to develop new medicines and test the safety of other products has given rise to two distinct perspectives. One side argues that such practices are morally unacceptable due to the suffering inflicted on animals, while the other side insists that they offer a more viable solution for safeguarding human health. This essay will carefully analyze both positions before presenting a well-reasoned personal opinion.
In recent years, many people have argued that diets in Western countries are becoming increasingly unhealthy. Fast food, processed meals, and sugary drinks have become common in daily consumption. While some people believe governments should intervene and encourage dietary changes, I partly agree with this view because unhealthy eating habits can cause serious public health problems, although personal responsibility also plays an important role.
In recent decades, the accelerating pace of modern life, accompanied by mounting professional and financial pressures, has fundamentally reshaped family dynamics. While some argue that these developments have enhanced living standards, I strongly agree that the speed and stress of contemporary life are exerting a largely negative influence on family relationships.
Recently, more funds have been invested in developing the required machinery for space exploration, and this has raised questions of whether there might be more beneficial sectors to invest in. I believe that investment in extratrrestrial research is justified, although it shouldn't be at the detriment of other sectors.
In recent years, advances in medical treatment have resulted in people living longer than ever before, and life expectancy has significantly increased. Although this trend has some drawbacks, I believe that it is largely a positive development.
Housing shortages in major cities have become a pressing issue, often leading to serious social consequences such as overcrowding, homelessness, and rising inequality. While some argue that only government intervention can address this problem effectively, I largely agree that the state plays a central role, although collaboration with the private sector is also essential.
