While the improvement of material conditions and globalization dividends highlight its positive contributions, the dissolution of cultural traditions and ecological costs raise legitimate concerns that must not be ignored. However, when weighed against each other, it becomes clear that the advantages of economic development far outweigh its disadvantages.

Personally, I completely disagree with this idea as traditional foodstuffs are more beneficial not only to health but also to the economy than simple meals.

I think while learning English is still extremely vital for the future, ensuring the local language is preserved is something that everyone must care about.

One of the widely discussed issues nowadays is the changing role of women in society. Now people are beginning to realize that marriage is no longer the only way for women to achieve stability. Personally, I tend to think that financial independence is one of the key reasons, but not the only factor. Firstly, it is well known that women today have more opportunities to work and build successful careers. What I mean here is that many women can support themselves without depending on a husband’s salary. A good case in point is modern Europe, where a high percentage of women continue living alone even when they reach their thirties, because they feel confident in their own income. In addition, women may prefer to travel or focus on education when they finish their studies, rather than getting married immediately.
