Some people think that universities should provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed in the workplace. Others think that the true function of a university should be to give access to knowledge for its own sake, regardless of whether the course is useful to an employer. What in your own opinion is the main function of a university?

In recent times, employers of labour have complained that job seekers do not meet their employment requirement.
, some individuals think schools ought to incorporate skill
the act of contracting or assuming or acquiring possession of something
while impacting
, whereas, some other people affirm that the main
of a higher institution is to teach students irrespective of the usefulness of the course in the labour market. In my opinion, the primary
of a university is to teach students to be useful in their society by furnishing them with both
and handwork.
, universities should equip undergraduates with hands-on experience alongside their studies because it helps them to be able to
effectively in their chosen career.
For example
, some Nigerian polytechnics' curriculum now involves a year internship programme for everyone,
, creating a platform of opportunity for the pupils.
will increase their employability chances.
, for a graduate to be able to work effectively, theoretical
alone is not adequate as it is synonymous to throwing an amateur swimmer into the ocean to start swimming.
, all learning
an area that is approximately central within some larger region
should ensure that they include a reasonable period of time for students to learn as it contributes to being confident at work.
For instance
, the medical curriculum of every college of medicine involves a
required by rule
one year
, most doctors discharge their duties
with confidence; in a confident manner
. In conclusion, the main
of a university is both
and skill
the act of contracting or assuming or acquiring possession of something
and these should be well taught so as to help graduates secure jobs quickly and enhance their ability to overcome challenges.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
