Some companies have uniforms for their staff which must be worn at all times. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages and give your own opinion.

Some companies have a dress code for their employees, which they should wear all the time at
work
. While the major disadvantage could be causing the inconvenience to staff, I believe it promotes unity in the company which is a primary benefit. The main drawback of wearing the same piece of clothing at all times will cause discomfort to the people working in that company.
That is
to say, they feel less motivated to
work
and lose interest to complete the designated tasks resulting in poor performance.
For example
, in 2011 20% of employees working in Infosys left their jobs because of the dress code system and joined other companies who gave them dressing liberty. Despite
this
, I believe that uniforms create a good atmosphere in the offices for people to
work
efficiently. The main advantage of companies having uniforms for their staff is that it offers a healthy working environment.
In other words
,
this
practice eliminates the differentiation between the authorities and staff members leading to a better overall result. It encourages equity among and motivates them to
work
collectively.
For instance
, Google achieved the number one position in terms of providing services because of the collaborative
work
done by their employees due to the dress code. I believe that the advantage of unity among the people

the job is more important for any organisation. In conclusion,
although
there could be a disadvantage of discomfort in the people because of the uniforms, the unification of the individuals in the company is a crucial benefit to yield the best outcome.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
