Nowadays the way people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? Has this become a positive or negative development?

These days the manner of
interaction
people have with each other has changed
as a result
of
technology
. In my opinion, I believe
this
is a negative development, because
this
can lead to isolation as well as exposition to dangerous people.
Firstly
,
technology
has impacted the nature of relationships people make because
commuincation
the activity of communicating; the activity of conveying information
communication
has been made more
convienant
suited to your comfort or purpose or needs
convenient
.
That is
, face to face
interaction
is no longer
complusory
required by rule
compulsory
before contact can exist which means distance is no longer a barrier. With the advent of mobile phones and social media sites,
interaction
between friends, family and relations has improved greatly irrespective of busy schedules and work pressures.
Also
,
technology
has helped build stronger bonds between people as they can relate and connect at any time of the day without having to be physically present in the same space.
However
, I believe
this
is a negative development as it encourages isolation.
This
is because people can stay in the confines of their homes for as long as they want, pretending to be doing great without anyone noticing. Health issues
such
as depression is on the raise as many people pretend to be fine when they are actually going through terrible moments.
Furthermore
, since
technology
has made meeting people flawless, they pretend to be what they are not behind the keypads and perpetrating crimes has become
posssible
capable of happening or existing
possible
as they can easily disguise under another
persons
Suggestion
person's
identity.
Consequently
,
technology
Suggestion
the technology
has many adverse effects as regards interactions among people. In conclusion,
interaction
between people has changed because of
technology
, and
this
is a negative development because
this
aids isolation and exposes many people to strangers who might be dangerous.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
