Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel or work in that country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Arguments have arisen as to why people, learn new languages. While it is believed by some that the sole purpose of learning it is for travelling or working, others think that there are other reasons why one would learn new languages. In my opinion, I agree with the latter assertions with a number of reasons. On the one hand, in
order

to communicate effectively in a new place, it is essential to learn their

. The world today is evolving; businesses are moving from local borders into new international grounds. If a worker intends to move with

then

it is a must to learn a new dialect.

helps to make the work seamless without limitations or errors. A recent publication by Harvard Dailies reported that thirty percent of the people that registered for a new

On the other hand

, I believe that marriage is indeed another reason why people learn new dialects.
This

is because the world today being a global village, interracial marriages keep taking place and it is not going to stop soon. So, in

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
