century, has widened the gap in thoughts of youngsters and older people. Some people believe that younger ones must learn from elders' experience and follow them, while others argue that, new generation have to change senior citizens' beliefs and thoughts.

essay is an attempt to discuss both views and give its own opinion at the end. On the one hand, people, who think that senior citizens' past experience must be taken into consideration by young ones, believe that, young people can learn from their elders and avoid repeating mistakes, which elders had already made in their lives.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation
