Some people think that the best way to improve road safety is by reducing the maximum speed limits on vehicles, others think there are other better ways. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

There have been several opinions on improving

on the highway. While some think that reduction of speed limits on vehicles would improve

This
is so because by reducing the speed

Also

In addition

accidents.
On the other hand
, others are of the view that other measures like construction of quality roads and functional cars flying on those highways are better options to improve
road
safety
. I completely agree that when there are good quality roads, even if the users move on a very high speed they would in most cases still be safe.
For instance
, the Governor of Lagos State recently declared all roads in Lagos, a state of emergencies and along the line, he reconstructed majority of roads, making it safe for users to driver without fear of having an accident.
In addition
, if a law can be put in place to check the functionality and conditions of all vehicles that are moving on the highways,
this
would

safety
. The combination of quality
road
construction and functional vehicles would definitely improve
road
safety
. To conclude, while people may have varying opinion, I believe constructions of good roads and functional vehicles on
such
roads would improve
road

the state of being certain that adverse effects will not be caused by some agent under defined conditions
safety

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
