“The best way to learn English is to study with native teachers.” What do you think about this opinion? State your point and give reasons and examples to support your answer.

Since English is one of the most powerful languages in the world, people always wonder what is the best
way
to learn
this
language. Some people believe that the best approach is to learn from a native teacher while others think
that is
not necessary.
First
,
this
essay will provide my personal opinion on why I believe native teachers will be helpful for English learners and
secondly
provide reasons to support my idea.
To begin
with, students nowadays might find a lot of opportunities to learn English
such
as social media, podcast or non-English speaking teachers. No matter where the students learn from, the concept and the structure of the English are the same.
For example
, some people might find YouTube videos or daily podcasts more easy and convenient for them to gain their English knowledge.
Although
British English and American English might use different vocabulary, its grammar is the same. With all different types of approach available for the students, English is actually very easy to access and learn.
However
, learning English, from a native teacher can provide even more benefits to learners for teachers will be delivering an authentic
way
of using their own language, pronunciation and idioms,
therefore
, learners will have the opportunity to communicate directly to the native speakers. Especially using English for a particular country to work or study, practicing with a native teacher has become extremely important because people do not speak the same
way
as books teach. To add, learning English with native teachers can
also
improve the usage of local slang which help students to communicate and understand better within the community. Taking work as an example, if the person can communicate the same
way
as his/her local customers, it does not only enhance the level of understanding the service, but
also
building the trust since customers might feel they are being well explained.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
