Some people think it is better to have friends who always have the same opinion. Others believe it is good to have friends who sometimes disagree. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There are people who say it's a desirable thing to have friends who

 the same views while others say it's best to have friends who sometimes have a different take on issues. In my opinion, I believe that while it is good to have friends who
share
 the same base opinions it is
also
 good to have those who are not afraid to challenge us when we are wrong. On
one
 hand, those who say friends should always have the same views have
this
 notion supported by the adage "Birds of the same plumage flock together".
In other words
, it can be a really good thing to have friends you rarely argue with because you
share
 similar takes on issues.
On the other hand
, a section of the population
have said
