Many may believe that the people of today have an abundance of choices that might not have been available in the past. I think that we are provided with too many options. What should I eat for lunch today?
This
question has grown to be difficult with time as several restaurants are now available to pick from. Lunch was once a basic task, get nutrients into my body, that has evolved into the aim of satisfying one's taste buds. The simple action that would require a short amount of time to complete is now extended by adding decision making in the process. I have observed coworkers getting frustrated trying to decide where to go for lunch, one even skipped lunch because she was not able to make up her mind

In concluding, while having options is great, when we are overloaded with possibilities people tend to select poorly than if they were limited. Less choices result in better decisions.
