Because of modern technology, some people believe that it is no longer necessary for people to learn handwriting skills, but others believe that handwriting is still an important skill. Discuss both views and give your opinion based on your experience.

It is a universal consensus that the need to write is deteriorating gradually due to technology development. In spite of

 existing pattern, some people claim handwriting skills are necessary to learn. There are some valid reasons on both sides which will be elucidated below and adds my opinion

 and foremost reason proponents, who support the writing skills, mention is the change in trend. They consider these skills as an outdated practice to follow yet. It means due to the vast usage of the latest technology devices

 as smartphones, iPad, laptops, and projectors, the writing practice is

, offices, universities, and even in schools people prefer taking notes through mobile phones and tablets

 of writing. In

 current scenario, it appears to some that it could not be a practical and sensible idea to learn handwriting skills.

, the critics deny the above facts by explaining these are not the skills to become obsolete.

 writing could be replaced with the help of modern gadgets, it would still remain an impractical aspiration in all cases.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
