Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

Two given plans show the reconstruction of ground floor of museum from 1990 to 2010. There are several striking changes in that area. First of all, in the upper right corner archaeology gallery was divided in two different rooms, which were later named as Children’s interactive zone and Poster display area. The Gift shop was enlarged, and café was appeared there. At the same time Natural history room and museum office did not go through any modifications and remained at the same place. When it comes to Reception counter, which was located next to the Museum office, it was also replaced in 2010. The Statue near the stairs was moved to the ground floor’s center. Another significant redesign happened with entrance, which were widened in 2010. In addition, a lift was added on the floor. Taken as a whole ground floor of museum has a huge number of alterations between 1990 and 2010.
