Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or or disagree?

Budget allocation by the
in the public
is widely debated, with some people claiming that
should invest more money in railways, while others proclaim that roads should be given more importance. In my opinion, I completely agree that, railways should be given importance because they are faster and pollution free. To embark on, there are many reasons why the
should spend more money on railways.
, railways is faster than road
, because trains go at a speed of 300 to 500 kilometres per hour easily, whereas for cars and buses it is nearly impossible due to the traffic on the roads.
For instance
, bullet trains in Japan can accelerate to 300 km/HR within a span of one minute.
, trains can accommodate more people than the other means of
with varying options
as reservation, A.C and general coach.
, railways are cheaper than roads, which can be easily affordable by all sections of the society.
, trains generate a very less amount of pollution when compared to the road
. Nowadays, due to the modern inventions, most of the locomotives run with the help electricity
of fossil fuels.
For example
, metro trains in India are fully automatic and they are electrically driven and emits zero carbon dioxide.
vehicles which run on roads produce enormous amounts of carbon dioxide and chlorofluorocarbons which in turn leads to depletion of the ozone layer and causes global warming. To conclude, as railway transit is faster, secure and pollution free, so
should concentrate on developing railway transit by investing more money rather than road

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
