In some countries, children have short school day of 5 hours. In other countries, the school duration is often longer. Does it have more benefits than drawbacks?

There is a growing debate across the society over the number of hours, children should spend at school, as in many countries these are of less as compared to some others, where it is actually more than former. Duration spent in educational institutions plays a vital role in the development of the child’s future. I would argue for the advantages of spending less span at it. The
first
and foremost benefit of it is the more leisure time at home with family or friends. Adolescents can spend
this
time playing indoor and outdoor games with their peers or family members, which will help them in developing their social and interpersonal skills.
For instance
, a report published by the Times, states that, children who spend more hours in a day while playing tend to imbibe more social skills than their peers, who spends more duration in academic study, and less active in sports.
Moreover
, it helps in building healthy relationships with parents, when they spend more with them, which
Otherwise
is hard to achieve seeing the current burdened education scenario.
Furthermore
, every learner’s brain has a focused concentration limit, required to grasp the concept being taught at the institute, which tends to lack, if it gets exhausted. Taken into consideration of
this
fact, 5 hours of the course at it are more duration for many students. To illustrate, a study has
also
cemented
this
fact by stating that the more hours lead to lack of concentration for the majority of students. To sum up, I conclude that reasonable hours of class at academic study help students in building their social and intellectual skills, and keeping them intact to the more focused learning than just spending hours, out of which half are eventually unproductive.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
