Some people say that music is a good way of bringing people of different cultures and ages together. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Some people claim that
music
has a connective effect on cultures and generations. I completely agree with the statement.
Firstly
, there are numerous types of
music
, including traditional tunes of certain lands.
This
type of
music
could give an insight into the country's culture and history.
For example
, a few centuries ago, empires which ruled Europe fought with each other for several reasons. Many soldiers died, and just

Therefore

Moreover
, there is a well-known phrase which emphasizes
music
has no language, and it is universal. Some of the sounds,
such
as piano and violin, has a relieving impact on individuals.
For instance
, a person with an entirely different culture than Europeans could enjoy classical
music
the same as Europeans do.
Furthermore
, there were distinguished bands in the 70s and 80s
such
as the Eagles. Those bands have been produced unique rhythms, especially for a specific decade. It is unlikely to reproduce these masterpieces nowadays.
Thus
, these melodies connect parents to their descendants because most of the teenagers enjoy listening to these famous old-time songs the same as their parents. In conclusion, I firmly believe that

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
