Technology nowadays has been continuously advancing, making some information be more readily available with the tip of the fingertips through the use of

 paving the way for others to believe that maintaining public hubs of books is
such
 a financial waste. In my personal opinion, I totally believe in
this
 notion that maintaining libraries would add weight to the financial responsibilities of an institution. While it is true that computer technology can replace the function of printed articles, some people would most probably opt not to visit libraries and just do research through the
internet
. With
this
 in hand, library incomes would become lesser and lesser and the institution would have a hard time to finance the maintenance of
such
 places. A case in point back in our hometown in Bukidnon, there used to be a small public library near the city hall, but
then
 with the boom of
internet
 in the late 2000s, students rarely visit the book hub, and just
last
 year it
finally
 decided to put an end, because the income cannot suffice to hire someone to man the place,
thus
 the closure.
Moreover
, public libraries contain a lot of books to take care. Another example, from our place in Bukidnon, because it is only rarely visited by people, it only has a few income. Again, the small income will not suffice the repair of ripped and torn pages of some books, which is
also
 one of the main reasons why the libraries ended.
Thus
, with the trend of computer and
internet
 use brought about by modernization, people most likely will switch their ways of finding infos from printed sources to digital ones, which is much more accessible. With
this
, people rarely visit libraries, and in return, the establishment eventually closed because of insufficient funds for
maintainance
activity involved in maintaining something in good working order
