It is generally accepted that exercise is good for children and teenagers. Therefore, physical education should be compulsory for all students in all schools. What do you think?

Working out is a great way, for boys, girls and adolescents, to get in shape, to prevent overweight related diseases and to socialize more. These days, with the use of cell phones and other technological devices, sedentary lifestyles and communication problems have increased. In my opinion, physical education should be obligatory in every school of the world and in
this
essay I will explain why. The
first
reason is that exercise at schools is an entertaining way to keep in shape by playing games or practicing sports. Ball games,
such
as volleyball, soccer, softball or baseball,
for example
, are fun, amusing and an effective fitness activity. Another advantage is that these classes increase socialization skills. Soccer,
for example
, make children, not only run fast and kick the ball, but
also
interact with other players, from their own and their opponent team.
Consequently
, sports at schools become more than just simple exercise, but an effective socializing tool. Another advantage is that habits introduced in early ages remain for life, increasing active life in the future and preventing,
therefore
, adulthood diseases
such
as obesity, diabetes and hypertension. Take
for instance
, when people learn sports in childhood, they keep on practicing them in the future, remaining lean and healthy for life.
Moreover
, our body gets used to regular training and needs that healthy habit to feel good. In conclusion, in my opinion, all schools around the globe should have compulsory gym classes because exercise is essential
firstly
, to avoid obesity,
secondly
, to prevent future obesity related diseases, and
lastly
, to improve children and youth socialization issues.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
