Some people say that children should learn all the subjects equally. Whereas others think that they should only learn what they are interested in. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

In contrast
, others believe that they should learn subjects which they find interesting. In my opinion, I agree that children should be interested while studying a subject which will encourage them to

more. On the one hand, some people assert that a child should concentrate to educate themselves on subjects that interests them, and I agree.

Furthermore
, based on what children like to do, they can flourish in that field

On the other hand
, there is an opinion asserted that children should gain an understanding of all the subjects. Simply put, children should have knowledge of all the subject matters even if the topic is uninteresting.
For instance
, some parents force their children to

engineering, only because they think it will help them to land a high-paying job. Unfortunately, children tend to fail the exams due to lack of interest.
Additionally
, it would be difficult for a child to concentrate on too many subjects at a time and can create a constant pressure to have profound knowledge of everything. To conclude, while people may vary in their opinions, I think that children should be given the opportunity to explore the subjects which generates curiosity in them to learn more and succeed in that field.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
