In many major cities around the globe the amount of traffic is growing. What do you think are the causes of this? Can you suggest some possible solutions?

Most people would agree that in most of the big cities all over the world the number of transportation is growing very fast. The causes of
this
are the speed of life, urbanization and
also
the individualistic approach to it. The solutions to it you will see below. On the one hand, people talk about the importance of nature and the importance of being close to
it but

it, but
we see that more and more people
move
from rural places to urban areas. In my point of view the main cause of
traffic
growth is overpopulated cities. It is understandable why people prefer living in big cities: they provide more opportunities and different types of activities for young people as well as for old people. Another important reason for
traffic
growing is individualistic lifestyle. People prefer to be free and not to depend on any means of transportation but their own cars. So they can
move
in space independently whenever they want. Though the reasons for
traffic
are quite reasonable, there are ways and solutions to improve the situation. There are families consisting of 4 or 5 people and each member of the family has a car. I presume that it would be an option to reduce the amount of cars that families could owe. It would
also
be better to
move
universities and big companies from big cities to small towns. Another obvious solution is inputting bikes as
means

a means
of transportation, which is very healthy for people as a sport activity as well as good for the environment. By using bikes we will reduce the pollution level. To conclude, the
traffic
growth is a big challenge for
humankind which

humankind, which
should be taken into consideration especially by urban designers and architects. Contemporary society is getting more
individualistic which

individualistic, which
is causing more problems,
such
as I mentioned above. But the love for nature can make us
move
from cities to villages and rural places, which will lower the population and
traffic
in the big cities.
