Many foods are shipped from far away. Some people think that eating local food is more environmentally and economically. Do you think the advantages outweigh its disadvantages?

Nowadays, there is an increase in foods, which are delivered from remote places. Some people consider that consuming local food helps to save the environment and to promote the domestic business to more developing. In my opinion benefits are much bigger that drawbacks. On the one hand, there are many advantages when we use local products. From the environmental perspective, local transportation is less cost and has less distance of delivery than an imported product from another country. If the logistical centre organized, rational a traffic for a shipment, we would have a minimum amount of the carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere. From the economic perspective, using local food promotes the local economy due to it create many different jobs and helps the region to raise the income.
For instance
, growing fresh vegetables and meal will increase create more jobs for farmers, drivers. Obviously, the income of these people is improved and developing in the economic area will be increased. Farmers will be used land to the maximum and country will have less neglected fields. On the other hands, the process of delivery for other country needs a large amount of money to pay for human resources, transports and fees. So import foods are expensive and have price 2-3 times overprice. According to statistics stat.
